First remotely controlled ship to port next year  – ”Safety is emphasised in everything”

Turun Sanomat wrote in their article on 16.4.2021 about testing of remote piloting, which is a part of the Sea for Value  – Fairway project coordinated by DIMECC. Brighthouse Inteligence is developing solutions related to sensors, connectivity and vessel interface to be used on a smart fairway and is already testing their remote pilotage centre in a simulator environment.
